in all honesty the caliber discussion will never end. there will always be someone that will say that a smaller caliber is useless..

truth be told a .17 will stop someone if u shoot em in the ------- face, so will a .22
http://youtube.com/watch?v=FGMvjhyuTr0

and pretty sure if u shot 3 rounds of a .22 into someone they wouldnt be walking arround..

what do you want? one round of .45 to put a big hole in em? how easy is it to conceal a 45

its a DEFENSIVE weapon.. not a offensive one..

for this gun, there is no compromise, its got all the lethal stopping power you need, and the gun is small as ----, and has managable recoil.. which once u get used to.. will be a complete non issue.

it real easy to conceal a .45 its called a shoulder holster. it positions the gun under neath your arm near you ribs. it is comfortable and has stoping power

have you actually shot that gun with hollow points in it?
just saying some guns do not like HP as they dont have a full nose on the bullet, there is a reason the military doesnt use HP in 1911's.

you dont know that, my glock never jammed in its life until i used some CCI HP's and i got like 5 jams in 17 rounds, switch back to UMC HP's and never had a problem.

you bought this to protect your life, at least make sure its up to the task

one of my favorite quotes goes something like this "A 9mm might expand but a .45 will never shrink" :D

and it isnt hard to conceal a .45. definatly try out hp's in it before you decide to put it away, my .45 like most doesnt like all hp's and you never know if your gun will feed em good till you try.

this is my .45.

And.... if it goes off while it's on your hip, it's not accurate enough to ever hit you.

well im with buk, im looking to get one of these as well, its last minute pull-out piece.

someone is going to kill you, dig it out of where you have it stashed (like mentioned before, its a ------ tiny gun) and then just keep pulling the trigger.

i dont care how inaccurate a gun is, at 10 feet you should be able to hit a torso without aiming.

now as far as buk talking about keeping it around to defend his house. thats gay. shotguns are the best home defense weapon, hands down. i always have a loaded shotty within arms reach of my bed.

why would it go off while its on me?

i would never keep a round in the chamber.. also ittd take a pretty dumb person to have it go off.. especially with the belt clip.. just install a small shim to make it easier to pull off your buckle and your good to go
