how many of you guys still use this ----? hella people i know still d/l ---- from kazaa all the time. anybody personally know anyone what has gotten into trouble using this? just curious, i think the whole kazaa thing is bullshit. by the way, i still use it SOMETIMES, not 24/7 like i used to...lol.

by the way, anybody know of any alternatives? example: irc, ftp servers, etc.

I used it last night. I only use it occasionally. No, I don't know anyone who has gotten in trouble. I think you can only get in trouble if you upload, so I only download, I know, I know p2p networks wouldn't exist if everyone didn't share, but I gots a family and I ain't trying to go to jail or get a big fine.

I still use kazaa lite when i really want something but i don't upload. That whole thing about people being sued seems like a lot of propoganda to me, but i'm still playin it safe and not uploading or staying on it all the time.

My bro's boss(works at blockbuster) is being sued for like 1.5 mil or some outrageous number... Its obvisouly gona be taken down to a couple g's, but still thats ------- expensive.

Yeah I use KaZaA lite also... I tried installing my old version of KaZaA and it didn't work. I have no trouble with KaZaA litle though. I am not worried about getting sued and I have not heard of any of my friends getting sued. The RIAA can lick my nuts.

i use it all the time.. but im in canada and think i am safe of the riaa..


speaking of Kazaa.. are you guys , when you are on, download a song and like 10 seconds in it just goes nuts and sounds like electronic noise??? Every other song i d/l sounds like that.. becoming annoying.

I havent used Kazaa, just get all my stuff off IRC and File servers, Its a whole lot easier, and I find a lot better selection of stuff albums are put together into *.rar's, and its a little tighter knit crew, since you actually have have some computer skill to download the stuff

Yeah I think people just put those shitty MP3's out there on purpose to try and stop people from downloading at all. KaZaA kinda sucks ass now and it's harder to get decent files (works great for porn though). I am going to try using other programs to download crap I think, but KaZaA works for now.

I hopped on Kazaa last week and it popped up right away

"What you are doing is illegal and you will be sued" or something to that effect, So I figure I'll just actually listen to the music I've got instead of getting more, since I haven't listened to like 1/10th of it.
