i hear it gets you high, but i cant find anything on the internet that supports that.

I live in Hawaii where this stuff is from well Samoa has it too. Its a traditional Hawaiian drink. It tastes like dirt since its made from a root, and smells like vomit. But you feel good after you drink it. I've never taken the pill which i'm assuming you're asking about, but the drink makes your tounge go numb at first then the rest of your body will soon follow. Try looking up Kawa hawaiians don't have the letter V. If you do try the drink dont drive anywhere I don't know how strong you can get it on the mainland but we have this stuff growing in backyards and this ---- is strong.
