Guys a friend of mines just blow his engine, he has a 97 2dr accord that had a cold air intake, and lately down her in south Florida it's been rainnin' nonstop, and he sucked up some water, and blow it. now thats got me thinking cause I wonna turbo my integra. but what do turbocharged cars with front intercoolers do to protect their cars when it rains, or runinn' through a flood....

um... front mount intercoolers arent filters. all they do is simply take out the radient heat form the air. no air comes in or out from the intercooler. infact, its better for a lil biut of watter to hit your intercooler.

This is funny, but i'll be honest, air only go trought the fin in the intercooler, i doesn't get inside. The air inside the intercooler come from the turbo, so you'll be fine except if your turbo suck water...
