Yea I really don't know what you're getting at here, Johnny had PHOTOGRAPHIC evidence of equipped vehicles redline on the factory tachometer.
I could have easily manipulated those quotes, I didn't though, that's straight from Wikipedia's article on the GM LS engine.

Re: Just for Jonny
hey confuzed, i gaurantee the ls will put out over 1000whp as well, with more torque than the yota block.
Car is a bit ricey but definitely not a bad price for it. If it wasn't hacked up, I'd probably buy it over a lot of other $10k cars.
So ls's have been put in about every chassis, wonder if I'll see an ls7 in the new gtr :P

it will produce 416 hp (311 kW) at 6,600 rpm and 371 ft·lbf (505 Nm) of torque at 5,200 rpm.
it produces 381 hp (283 kW) at 5,600 rpm and 401 ft·lbf
I'm not going to nit-pick but if you ask me the power levels of the UR family of engines are pretty similar to the LS6. Not the LS7 though, that's a result of plain displacement.
And those are stock figures.
