Just an idea
Just a though for cheap b-series pistons. I was looking on ebay and found 7mgte pistons. There 83mm bore, wrist pin is 21.996mm, comp is 8:5:1 in the 7mgte. So from the looks of it you would just need to over bore to 83mm and line hone the wrist pin a bit. Not 100% sure it will work but if it does could be a cheap way to go.

Re: Just an idea
Yah, Hitchhikkr says the compression height is too tall. Also, they aren't a strong piston and they aren't forged so not worth the hassle.
My $0.02 on the subject is boring out the small end of the rod a whole mm doesn't make me feel too great about the idea. |
Re: Just an idea
this feels like a complex thread

Re: Just an idea
seems pretty simple to me ??? ??? ???

Re: Just an idea
Only people I have ever seen do 83mm stock sleeve builds were JG and they were all motor builds. Plenty of companies who sell cheap forged b series pistons one not used much for some odd reason is Probe Industries.
