Re: just got the honda back
The car runs pretty strong. I'll have to get vids and pics of it and end up doing it tomorrow anyway. He had a major boost leak that made the car run hard to get its 10psi tune in, but with that fixed and the MBC on the 10psi is there nicly. However, I'm a little concerned thier 10psi tune with the leak is going to be off due to when it built the 10psi rather than how the 10psi is built now without the leak.
I.E. Boost leak --> 10psi at 5500
Fixed --> 10psi at 4000
Do you think that the timing and mostly the fuel AFRs will be off due to this? The AFR gauge he has installed never showed lean during pulls though. A wideband about now would be a nice tool to have.
Nice car, and must say it's nice to have another boosted D to run around with. Track times are going to be soon as his Full-Rape traction bars are coming in and the DRs he just got mounted will go on soon. Practice his launching today and seemed to do well, but we all know how different the track is and with those added traction parts the difference it will make.
It's on Crome.
