just found out i had a turbo.....

damn i swapped trannys out this weekend and put a new clutch in because my old tranny raised hell ever since i bought the car three yrs ago...i can actually hear the turbo spooling now because theres no noise from the tranny, i love it, but im still trading it

I remember in my sentra i couldn't hear my house speaker with a combination of going 40 in 4th wheel bearing hum and having the A/C full blast (old and tired blower motor : \)

ill break it down for you...
couldnt hear turbo spool because old tranny made horrible noises at any speed
i swapped trannys
now i can hear the turbo spool

im still trading the car for the 95ls...

make sense now?

the idiot woman i bought it from had her husband do the clutch and they used regular gear oil instead of motor oil, etc....so the gears even after putting in the right stuff made horrid noises...i didnt evevn realize how quiet those trannys are suppost to be

Heh i just remembered how old and busted the tranny and motor mounts were. If you were going fast enough 4th gear would disappear off into the land of where reverse would be. Gah the memories of the horror.
