that mr2 is berry nice. Drive down to socal with it ^-^

oh and the crx bumper should fit okay, the fenders won't line up exactly with the bumper, but you should be able to bolt it on no prop. And don't use the civic filler piece

Was the headgasket replaced because the oem ones have a tendency to blow at anything over stock boost.

God I love that body style, these and 3000gts just have look to them that makes most people run away on the street.

no, its a puller, since it pulls the air.

stock headgasket and stock clutch. I was told the headgaskets rarely blow.

what does ceramic power means anyway ???. i saw that little tag on whole bunch of jdm 3sgte's

Re: just finished the ferraris'

i thought egt's belong on the manifold not DP? wont it give out a different sense of gas temps, that ic piping looks whack. and why are you labeling everything JDM when the car's from japan? of course its gonna have all that ----. and its called a puller fan cuz it pulls? it could be a pusher if he switched the wiring but im sure u already knew that.

Honda16hb 04-23-2005 10:03 PM

Re: just finished the ferraris'

the egt still works in the dp, it's just a little delayed, not as precise, and there's no risk of the sensor coming loose and destroying your turbo.

Ceramic turbine/compressor blades I assume. Some OEM tried that stuff out in the early 90's. Lower weight/inertia, faster spool was the idea behind it.

usually they do, alot of mr2 guys run like one egt per cylinder because the 4th cylinder likes to run really lean (hence the new bored out fuel rail) but he had a egt gauge, and a egt bung welded in the exhaust, so why not. I might use the egts to get some decent max power tuning of the ignition, who knows.

The intercooler piping isn't done yet, welds need to be grinded down and then painted.

I labeled everything JDM so that you knew it only comes in japan, all that stufff you can't get on the north american mr2s.

And no, it is a puller fan, it says puller on it, with a directional arrow, if I switched the wiring, sure, the fan might spin in reverse, but it wasn't designed to do that.
