Junkyard trip today
 

well today i went to the junkyard....i was looking for the middle taillight piece for my 89.....but instead i left with a set of civic VX? rims and an IHI RB5
i got the rims for $50(can) and the turbo fell into my truck....weird how that happened?

how do i tell if a turbo is still good?? other than shft play and ----

if it spins freely and has minimal shaft play it's good in my book 8)

But, when you use it you will really know if it's good or not.

i love junkyards. I always get there with empty pockets, and i leave with them full. The dudes at the front counter don't even speak english, so they say nothing to me. I just give them my clint eastwood stare as i walk out..... Make my day.

It's a good turbo but you will get sick of it soon. The powerband is a bit too smooth for me. I like a swift kick in the ass when boost hits. :P
