Everyone knows you can make your own oil line kit for less than $10.00
actually i broke 3 fittings in a row. and i know how to use a tourqe wrench... and you know im not saying its totally steves fault or not. all i am saying is. i contacted him about what was wrong the first time. he said go buy the right part and i will reimburse you. i dont care if the fittings broke. that was taken care of promptly by tunertoys. he even sent me free shirts. but steves customer service plain out sucked *** from my experience. and for being saying i dont know how to work on a car or blah blah blah blah. give me a break. i have probably done alot more than any of you. just because im not a loser and have over a million posts on HMT doesnt mean i dont know how to work on a car. **** can vouch that i know what i am doing.

I thing he broke the fitting/bolt at 13 Ft Lbs because he used the wrong torque wrench. I've found out that one of the torque wrenches that click when the torque settings is reached do not click at such low setting (13 Ft Lbs). I'm referring to the 10-150 Ft Lbs AmPro torque wrench sold by Advance Auto. It is just not that sensitive at such low settings, and if you are not careful, the damn bolt/fasterner will break. I used one to tighten some spark plugs and common sense told be something was wrong when it was taking forever to click at a setting of 10 Ft Lbs. A torque wrench (one that clicks) with a setting of 1-75 Ft Lbs is the appropriate tool for such low torque specification.

I will conclude that the failure of the oil line fittings has nothing to do with the quality of the product, and blames the user for not using the appropriate tool to install/tighten said product.

Are you ready? Are you?

It seems that a couple turbo manufacturers have changed the inlet thread size of their new T3 turbos to 1/4 inlet instead of the 1/8 that has been on every T3 since 1867. Along with this change, the drain flange mounting bolts are a different thread. The drain flange is the same, but the thread size of the bolts isn't. Here is what my website says about the T3 kit you ordered.

PLEASE READ THE TEXT BELOW CAREFULLY WHEN SELECTING THE PROPER OIL LINE KIT

14B (Tdo4h) Turbo Oil Line
14B uses a M12x1.25 thread size for the oil inlet. The drain flange from center to center mounting bolts measures 38mm. This kit does not come with the mounting bolts to bolt the drain flange onto the turbo. There are many different sizes used on different variations of the 14B, leaving us to choose not to carry them.

T25 Turbo Oil Line
T25 kit uses a 7/16 thread size for the oil inlet. The drain flange from center to center mounting bolts measures 44mm.

T3/T4 Turbo Oil Line
T3/T4 kit uses a 1/8 thread size for the oil inlet. The drain flange from center to center mounting bolts measures 50.8 mm.
So to begin with, you didn't double check your turbo or order the correct kit. I haven't reconfigured the options for buying T3 oil line kits on my site, but regardless, you weren't paying attention.
When you told me of this, I told you exactly what I did every time I've run into these new turbo dimensions. I went to Home Depot and bought the $3 of parts to fix the problem. I offered to pay for the parts that you could pick up locally in a matter of 30 minutes, but obviously you'd rather have me go to home depot and ship them for you. That takes more time for you to get them, and cost more to ship them. All because you weren't reading in the first place. I told you to buy them locally and let me know how much it was exactly, and the next thing I hear about it is this post. lol.
All customers that don't order the right parts are taken care of. I've had people that ordered a T25 kit and really had a T3, or ordered a 14B kit and just wanted to trade in the parts a year later (unused) for the turbo they ended up using. The only customers that don't get things taken care of are ones with attitudes like yours.

The block fitting:
Recently Tunertoys made a batch of block fittings for Nissan? guys or something like that. The change from the regular to those was that the port was opened up to a larger diameter. Larger diameter = less meat for the threads when going into the block. Somehow I got a couple of these "special" ones" when I ordered from Tunertoys. That whole mess is now cleared up, but that was the reason the block fitting broke. I'm glad you got taken care of by Tunertoys.

So that's the jist of this whole thing. I've given more ---- away, did too many favors I didn't have to, and had how many years of flawless selling. I've had little issues just like everyone, but the reason you don't hear about them is because of the way I handle them.

But like I said, all of my problems were dealt with incredibly fast and curteously.
I don't remember what took 3 times to get the order right, but I know I just took a used oil line in that cracked in a spot that it shouldn't have. It's no problem. I don't send that ---- back to my supplier, I just eat it. That's why my reputation is the way it is.

For a couple months now I have been sending out my own orders. Tunertoys is still my top distributor, and it doesn't matter either way who sent it out.

In closing, my reputation speaks for itself. While others come and go, or never come at all, I've been here for years and years, had an oil line "company" make another company specifically to take me out, and in the end I'm still here, getting bigger and bigger. One guy with no English composition isn't going to change that. Say what you will, where you will, and how you will. It's entertaining to me.

How? He said he would reimburse you how is that bad customer service? If that was my buisness I would tell you to fist yourself and if your that bad of a mechanic that you snap 3 fittings in a row than you shouldn't be working on cars. I could understand if you only broke one, but all 3 thats a red flag that you have the mechanical abilities of a 12 year old school girl.

If his parts are really that shitty than anyone reading this that broke a Stealthmode block fitting post up. I've been here a long time and this is the first time I've heard of one breaking, let alone 3 in a row.

Bah, I'm just going to come out and say you're an idiot that ordered the wrong parts and now you want to blame someone else for your stupidity. Don't worry, I do the same ----, but I don't make it public like you have. :1

I have bought a chipped ecu, 4 hx wheels/tires and a oil line kit from stealthy. I cannot say enough good things about this man, I think he would hand deliver a order to your house before he would ever consider having bad customer service. He takes care of his ---- and checks his email/pm's constantly unless of coarse your a douchbag.
