the check engine light is on b/c i burnt his map before he decided he wasn't going to run an o2 sensor, so i didn't disable it, we just didn't reburn a new map with it disabled. the boost will be bumped up, that was where the 'adjustable wg' was set when we put it on, had to find out where it was at before we just put the spring as tight as we could get it :P

also, that car sounds like its running like complete ***, it's pretty noticable in the video. Totally has the 3 cylinder suby sound. Plugs/Cap/Rotor/Wires all changed? and are you sure all 4 injectors are firing? I know you guys are excited and what not, but there is definatly something wrong with that engine.

oh yeah, 05 i'm pretty sure it was running on all 4, no, nothing was changed (this is junkyardracer we're talking about), but it didn't seem to be missing at all, just now down pipe at all

What do you mean "nothing" was changed? you put in a set of used injectors/resistor box and rechipped the ecu?! lots of ---- was changed. Yes its open downpipe and its loud, but it is 100% obvious to me that engine is only running on 3 cylinders. I'd pull all 4 plugs and make sure they all look identicle. Another easy way is put a long screw driver on the injectors to listen how loud each one is. They should also be equally loud ticks.

Bad injectors are tricky kevin, They arnt like a dead hole when its super obvious its running on 3. Me and beau put my set of brand new 950s in his ZC one time and we tuned and tuned the ******, by the end of the day.. I was just so unsatisfied with everything because I thought his car was just running like ----, when it was actually a dead injector. But the car still ripped on 3 cylinders

It's just something I would really look at, unless the audio is like way fucked up or something in that video. Have dave or beau watch this vid, I bet they say the exact same thing as me.

i'll check it out, but damn, i hope it's not an injector, that's what i suspect blowing up my buddy's si, it was running like ---- on my map that i was using with the same turbo kit (i sold im my old kit, and same car/engine, ecu, everything) a day later, he melted a piston, although he didn't have an ic either, the car was even running like ---- at idle which led me to believe an injector. i've never had a problem with used injectors, so i would hate to imagine that two friends at the same time have bad injectors :P

that was teh hotness. open turbo is the best way to run. I think his ---- is more free flowing though, my o2 elbow off the turbo dumps right onto the front cross member, that's why I can't run a dp.

Im 99% sure its running on all 4 cylenders. my car has fucked up and ran on 3 cylenders before, and i know what thats like. the video with it idleing the engine was way cold, and running at like 2000rpms. when its warm, she idles real nice at about 700rpms. cold, its a real bitch, when its warm, shes purrs like a kitten.

you are probably right jeff, i will pull a plug and take a look. also what should they be gapped at? something around .028-.030 right?

yeah man, just get some stock 00 si plugs, they're one step colder than yours, gap them at about .30-.33 or so, you're not exactly running high boost you just replaced all your ign. ---- not too long ago right?
