Exactly. People are much more sensitive to jerk (the derivitive of acceleration) than accleration itself.

Having been through two cars that John at LHT built and tuned, either to do touch ups or whatnot, I'd say that car is slow as ---- because the guy brought John all the wrong parts (big turbo cams to bring out everything his T25 has) OR he hasn't maintained it and it needs something stupid like fresh sparkplugs after three years OR the guy doesn't know how to drive. Probably all three.

John builds great cars if your rich. Its a name brand turbo which probably isnt matched to the car and i see no oil restrictor(might be the reason his car smokes now).Car was built last summer and honestly the reason the car is garbage is simple.Owner didnt do research and the rest of the car was left alone(clutch, tranny, suspension, ect).John oversaw the whole process and assembled the car himself from the bottom end up.I can post pictures, dyno charts, and shop invoices if you'd like.I'm not bashing LHT he has done good work i tried talking to my friend before he spent all that money on his goals and setups to get thier. Some people are just ignorant and dont listen to people who have experience in this ----.

IIRC, once you venture past 140-150ish IAT's, you're getting into diminishing returns on the boost increases.
