Default Joseph Davis...Can I get a free tune if I let you *maybe NWS*

can i get a free tune if i let you sleep with my wife

I traded the Sol for an ITR swapped Civic. I know...hype R's suck. I needed back seats for the new baby and A/C.

Anyway...now i need some turbo ----, a sleeved 84mm block and some forged internals.

Call Redline in Asheville, ask for Jason Goforth. (82 258-1492. I know he has a spare sleeved GSR bottom end, dunno if he's sitting on it or what.

ok

LOL

I'd love to.

Unforuntaly for us in the turf equipment buisness our slow season is about to start. I won't have any $$$ to sink in the car until tax returns or spring.

I love tax time now that I claim the wife, the wifes college, the house and the baby!

anway, i'm thinking a large bore matched with the ITR head and ITR/LSD tranny will make for a killer set up.

I'm going to shoot for 500 whp this time but i'm going to try to stick with a .57 trim t3/t4 since my tranny is so short/close geared.

I'm sure some ricer will pay me a fair amount cash for a JDM b18c short block.

.57 trim T04E = 450-460 whp tops. Maybe we can find a dishonest dyno operator if you want 5 on that turbo.

I'd be happy with 450!! that's nothing to complain about.

What do you think about an sc61 should I be able to find one for a good price?

Pete had one on the teggy and it was laggy as ----.

I don't want a big laggy turbo with an ITR tranny.

I will probably be forced to run a cast manifold to keep my ac unless I want to pay a grand or more for a manifold and down pipe. The cash manifold would help with the spool time but I don't want to sacrifice too much top end.

What turbo would you recomend for 500whp?

Pete's problem was he ran 6 psi. If you run 10-15 the turbo doesn't completely spool down between shifts.

Pete's problem was also in his exhaust. Go big, spool quick.

Short gear trannies + big turbos work, where long gear trannies suck. 8.5:1 B16 with T67 is freaking sweet on the street, very driveable.

If you want an HX35 I have one, but they don't fit on many shelf manifolds. Great turbos, just a little larger than a T04.
