I'm in the truck insurance business... over 50% of the truckers you see on the road are Middle Eastern, another 25% are Russian or Eastern European and the rest are Mexican and White / Other. Let me tell you, I've seen a lot of Russians with DUI's on their record (think about that the next time you're driving next to an 18 wheeler). We had a claim last year where one guy killed his father by backing up at a loading dock... apparently "just a couple more feet" really means just a couple more feet. So yeah, Russians aren't exactly indestructible, you just have to have the right tools :P |
