Canada is, by and large, a shithole. Toronto is alright, but it's the exception.

Edmonton is a big industrial/oil related/military city of about a million so it would not suprise me.Vancouver is a really nice city so is Victoria on Vancouver Island and generally most of BC is nice.Mission raceway owns too

I have met about 8 french people in western canada. Most of them are in this camp. There is more money within 20km's (12.4mi) of the corridor between edmonton and calgary than anywhere else of the same area in the world. Canada has larger oil reserves than anywhere in the middle east except Saudi, they don't even know how deep some of it goes as there is enough for the next lifetime and no one cares past that.
