It was Sport Compact Car.Someone here sent them an email and they featured a shot of the homepage in their "cyber talk" or what ever the ---- they call it section where they feature car club websites.

No that guy isnt on HMT, but he is a Northwest local, I've seen him at a few tracks this year.

As far as publicity, ya its cool and all, but after the last time we had a "feature" in a magazine in SCC the website doubled, so it kind of scares to think if this website would ever double again.

Look at the stats in Oct 2003, Obviously when hmt started getting pretty popular, (which was right after the article came out)

wow, those stats are pretty crazy!

why does that scare you? -might sound stupid, but I dont understand, really. would hmt have to increase everything on the computer server side or....???

Hmt is hosted on a Business DSL line 1meg up/down. I mean ya that would be cool to get really big, but I think at the pace we are going is fine. If it doubled like it did last time that would just be crazy. I just hate going to websites I really like that are butt ass slow.

another bad thing to website growth is more dumbasses coming on here, eventually some of them figure something out and maybe turbo their car after 5000 posts, but we can't all be as cool as me.
