Jeff, question about kia, answer if you dont mind

Jeff,

I just picked up a 2001 kia rio, it has 300 miles left on the warrenty. Is there anything in peticular I need to look at before the warrenty runs out? The fuel light is on but its full of gas, with that problem I'm going to head to the dealer anyway. So is there anything else I should look at? The oil looks milky, but I dont know non-synthetic oil since I never really used it. Thanks for your time

Nick

Engines are pretty much bulletproof, havent seen one die yet, but the automatics trannys are known for problems, change your fluid every 15k, the gas light is more than likly a sending unit. very common. 300 miles out of warranty??? 5/60 is covered for the 2nd owner.

Otherwise, they are ok cars, I have a 2003 rio in my bay right now that is kicking my ass. :-\
