This manifold looks wierd. It looks like its upside down and also it looks like it has a removable piece. I stared at this ****** for like 5 minutes trying to figure out if it was upside down...

That is a GSR "2 Stage" intake manifold. The theory behind that is short runners on bottom end for good tourqe, and long runners on top end for good hp. Good priniciple, but weak excicution. Although, theres is a nice nitrous kit by NOS which uses a plate which wedges between the 2 pieces.; Works real nice.

That manifold is also used on the fastest All motor honda/acura in the world..

Says they used the stock manifold that has been modified, They also tested individual throttle bodys and other setups, but the stock GSR manifold came up better each time, how odd? were honda engineers right on this one?
