JB Weld question
Any one ever used JB weld on a turbo manifold? My manifold has some very small areas where where i can see light come through looking into the collecter. I know it is only rated for 500 degrees but i wondered if anyone has had any good/bad results doing this. The gaps are probobaly less than a millimeter but i dont want to have any leaks.
I searched and did not find any topics on this.

Re: JB Weld question
Ive used the permatex cold bond on a header flange leak and it sealed the gap for a good 2 months until I swapped headers, I think it was only rated to 600 degrees to but it seemed to work
maybe because it was on the flange and had more room to get rid of the heat
for a turbo manifold I would definetely get it welded, wont cost you more than $50
