So I was reading the old flat-rate thread over at H-T and sure enough this fag PrecisionH23a is talkin' all sorts of ----. I figure, everyone has their own take on it, and that's just fine, but then he makes some post saying how Jeff's biggest mistake was going turbo on a budget.

Since that is the dumbest ---- I've ever heard, I let him know by calling him a jackass. Lo and behold, this bastard is a moderator or something because he pm's me saying he's gonna dock me 5% (like I give a ----) and he switches my avatar to a donkey.

I know there is a friend of mine that hangs out on honda-tech a lot. He lives in my town and we are good racing buddies.

He had in his sig "what is ricer $450 ctr tail lights or $150 altezza's, both do nothing for performance"... something along this. He told me that he had tons of pm's everyday saying that he is stupid cause he wass knocking jdm parts.

And what pisses me off further is that in his pm to me he says: Do you not understand how turbos work? Do you not understand the thermodynamics of why a tt setup is a bad idea on a i-4?

I'm like WTF? We all have our views on a honda tt setup, I'm calling you a jackass cause you think that anybody that wants to boost needs to drop big bucks. I just told that fag he needs to get off his high fawkin horse.

We all know that Honda-Tech supports the all mighty dollar instead of something unique. Thats why as soon as they seen a TT setup they comare it to an SC61. Of course the more expensive highly enginnered turbo is the best way to go but we don't have the money. When the first ------- linked my kit to HT the majority of the first responses was, "what a huge money pit/waste of money" It never crossed their minds than if you build something yourself its not as expensive as if you were paying someone else $1200 for a manifold. That to me proved that Honda-Tech was more about how much money you can spend and not on what you can fabricate with your hands.

But I've said this millions of times But it just pisses me off that there are places like Honda-Tech and flame on creativity and building something just for fun which deter people from actually trying it themselves.

Yes, DO NOT start a flame war with HT. They have far more members than us. Just don't go there. I only read and post when nothing is going on here. Every time I post I get into an arguement with some ------- trying to show off for his boy friends. Alot of good info, but alot of assholes. :-\

There is some good info in the H-T archive and I read it occasionally, but I haven't posted there in over a year. I prefer the DIY atmosphere here over the "must spend $$ to be fast" attitude there. It's funny, because I've been a member there for awhile and it hasn't always been that way. I definately saw the progression of it which centered around a small bunch of people; the mentality seemed to ------ like a disease. The cure is HMT ;)

Calm down, I really appreciate you defending me and thanks for the support but I don't like Honda-Tech so thats why I don't post there. Your really fighting an uphill battle if your trying to defend something thats against the popular opinion at Honda-Tech so thats why I don't even bother. The only time I find out that somebody posted pics on my setup on Honda-Tech is when someone from here makes a topic about it.


Its kinda like when people bitch about this site and Jeff tells them if you don't like it than ------- leave, well he's right and thats how I feel about Honda-tech.

I only go to HT to search for things when I can't find it here. There is some good info there, but I rarely post unless I really feel like I can help somebody out. This fag called me a post----- but I only have an average of .36 posts per day. I haven't mentioned HMT at all and I don't intend to pursue this at all unless this fawker keeps bringing ---- up.

It's just frustrating that their are such ignorant jackasses out there.

Hmmm...I must have done something good. I got my points returned back to me. They were taken for horse ---- reasons, but they are all back now. I wonder what happened? ??? I guess they never docked my point like he said they were going to, but that's so gay anyway. Who really gives a ----. Some of the smartest people on there get all sorts of points docked. I know Joseph Davis has had a bunch a trouble with that.

If HMT was going to use a system like that you'd probably get rewarded for caliing people on their ignorant ----, not docked.

Why do the mods over there ---- with people's names, titles and avatars? I also hear that they delete PM's and ---- if they're going to competing companies. What the ---- kind of site is that if its controlled by people who are in it for profit?

the YaBB SE software does support something like that, it's called karma and mods can give you plus or minus karma so under you avatar it says +3/-7 or whatever.

I wish I had your ambition. I was on www.superhonda.com before I followed jeff's link to hmt. superhonda is huge so it has plenty of ricers but also alot of guys who know their ----. a guy named uoboarder on there led me to turbo knowledge, and he pieced together his own kit, what a baller.

H-T represents the typical honda owner. They know everything, there's only one way to do something, and nothing that Muscle cars have ever done can be related to honda's. They think one way, and only trust what thier friends with no experience say. It makes us all look bad. ::)

I don't like the atmosphere of club4ag, mostly cuz it isn't HMT, and because I like to jack threads. They hate that ----. I say ---- them.
