The turbo was shipped relativly slow and when recieved I didnt inspect it well, until tonight when I noticed the exhaust fins were chipped/broken something that couldnt have happened in shipping, and upon further inspection the turbo has VERY excessive shaft play and there is no way that this turbo is rebuilt like stated in the ebay auction, the comressor fins scrape.

inspect ---- before you buy, or take the risk of getting ---- on, thats how buying on the internet works

you could have easily asked him for more detailed pictures because you were wondering about the condition of the turbo... if he didnt supply, theres thousands of other sellers with turbos on e-gay that will suit your app just as well

Sorry to hear of your situation. I would go straight to him first if you haven't already and let him know you aren't going to take it up the ass. Report him to ebay, paypal, etc. Drive to his location and beat him like you own him if all else fails.
I would tend to trust someone with feedback like that also.

yes you can still be scammed, but instead of bending over like a little bitch and takeing it, you can prevent 95% of scammers from getting your money by asking simple questions like the following

can i get some more detailed pics? (ask for specific areas that would show damage)
policy on refunds if item isnt as described (more for busniess on the net then one on one transactions)

its common sense, which you and your friend who got scammed dont seem to have, so i have no sympathy for you at all when you come to bitch

if you paid via paypal, make a claim, give bad feedback, and report it to e-bay.. dont bother trying to get this guy to have any regrets, look at the post about DSMatt22psi and see how well any type of online post about being scammed really works (so you dont waste time reading i'll shorten it for you... it doesnt work)

I already know all that. Plus, I don't recall saying I got scammed or that he was my friend. Do you? I was just telling you to shut up instead of hurling abuse. Your last post actually added something useful to the thread. Why didn't you say that in the first place, instead of being so arrogant and abusive? Anybody'd think that you were the scammer.

A stupid n00b posts up about how he got ripped because he's dumb as a box of rocks and doesn't inspect his merchandise, and another no-post n00b gets all emo about the respect we should accord stupid people.

I don't have to look to know neither of these guys have made intro threads, and posted pics of their rides and porn to them.

you shoulda known, a turbo for sale, that has already been rebuilt and then rebuilt again for no reason...that shoulda been a "der der der" clue...
