Re: Its seems that everyone is using Honda motors on custom cars, VIDEO
That little open wheeled roadster would ---- up any of those cars on the track. The only thing that was close to it was the enzo by a few tenths of a second.
Besides if I had money to drop on a NICE car I would get a TVR. Something that is actually well made. |

The atom is a track car, or enthusiasts' car. If you need a car to get women, well you just a sad person.....
The TVR Tuscan Speed 12 https://www.fast-autos.net/tvr/speed123.jpg found an interior shot. Not one plastic or vinyl is used in here. http://www.fantasycars.com/derek/car...0speed12_6.jpg Engine Type: V12 Displacement: 7730 cc Horsepower: 800 bhp @ 7250 rpm Torque: 650 lb-ft @ 5750 rpm Redline: 8000 rpm 0-60 mph: 3.5 sec 0-100 mph: 6.3 sec If you need a car for women, you could a lot farther with this than any domestic. Unless your trying to pick up some ghetto fabulous booty with gold teeth. Then perhaps a caddy. |

Obviously we can't count on Random Strike to invest. The more I think about this the clearer the vision becomes. The powerplant will be a Subaru WRS STI motor and trans. I would like to stay with Honda but a factory 300HP and a 6speed is hard to resist. The motor trans layout in the Subaru is perfect for a mid engine set up. The motor is flat and ahead of the trans for a low center of gravity and good weight distribution. Unlike most front wheel drive setups where the motor is over the trans causing it to be tall and wide. The Subaru also has a reputation in the racing community that will help people take this project more seriously. |

I am going to do a separate post for this so we can see how many people are truly interested. If people are serious about investing I will set up a escrow account and start taking money. I have the shop space and can start collecting parts and building a frame jig. We will do weekly updates on the build so every one can see where there money is going. It will be just like buying stock or investing in a company. You will wait to see what comes and how much money it will make. The amount of your original investment will determine the amount of your return. The finished prototype will be used in advertising to sell more cars and dividends payed to investors from the profit from those sales.
