It's the ghetto things:)

Re:It's the ghetto things:)
I broke the rear section off my tranny where the mount goes. I used a ratcheting tie down and strapped it to my upper strut bar to hold the tranny/motor up. I drove it like that for quite a long time.
The upper radiator shroud is missing on my truck and the fan kept hitting the upper hose causing it to leak. I used like 6 hose clamps and strapped them where the fan was hitting. I got sick of the pinging noise after a while so I just removed the fan. Now I overheat in drive-thru's.

Re:It's the ghetto things:)
one time I pulled into work and my shifter felt funny, so I wiggled it some more in neutral and I hear a clanking noise and then there's no resistence to my wiggling. I think "---- the weld in my shift linkage broke" so I get under the car and the bolt that holds the stick that does into the car onto the shift linkage fell the ---- out. I jacked that ---- up and used a coat hanger where the bolt went. It was a bitch to get it into any gear other than 3rd and 4th, so I had a difficult time getting home.
