Island Dragway - Great Meadows, NJ - Friday night 6pm!
 

I know there arent a ton of other HMT guys in the Jersey area but I am planning on going to Island Friday night and was hoping a few other guys might join me.

I am tuning Joe tomorrow night so hopefully I can get him to go. Who else might be in?

Hopefully the temps are a little lower after dark (than they have been)...the goal is high 12's O0

how tight are they with tech inspection? do you think they would fail me if i have an outdated ny inspection sticker- mine runs out tomorrow :-\

They are pretty lax...it's in NJ so I dont think they will care about a NY inspection sticker. I mean, people trailer in cars that arent inspected all the time so I dont see how that will matter.

I'd go but it's too far from me.
I am working 4am till 430am on friday.
If I break down I'm screwed.

We should have another etown meet. I can drag a friend of two there so if I break there I can get towed home.

GL on high 12's....that's my same goal on ~13psi on street tires.

There were a few other friendly honda guys there but none of my HMT homies :(

Best time of the night was a 13.1 @ 107/108 - still need more work on my lauches

Hit one 1.9 60' and teh rest were all 2.0s all night long. Trapped anywhere from 106-108 all night long (Consistant).

Early in the night I was getting traction, as it got colder though, traction started to go...

I was launching anywhere from 5500-5800 which seemed pretty much near where i needed to be

13.1's decent, but i see 12's in the very near future ;D

and everyone from the nj/pa area should get together at least somewhere so we can just chill maybe get some video or photos too....

i third that, Is ATCO closer than Great Meadows for anyone else??? i know it is for me. The NE guys must meet up, especially since my car is finally done, i feel worthy of going. im hitting up atco tomorrow night, sept 8th. Got class till 8 but i live like 3 minutes from the track. Its kinda last minute so maybe we should set something up for next friday or something.

Im about 1 1/2 from atco and about 20 mins from englishtown, i dont like englishtown and go out to atco everytime i run, i dont know about tomorrow night but we just finished putting my friends talon back together and i know he is going to want to go soon, even tho my cars not done yet maybe we could meet up might be like next week or something, well see what happens.

then lets set up an ATCO night, maybe next friday or the friday after that. If you drive an hour and a half to the track, i dont see how much farther it would be for anyone else. Atco is the best, my dad is friends with the owner as well, i could see about getting a discount or something. Cant wait to meet up in person and see everyones car. *chime in everyone else in the NE*

yea atco is def the best like 12 dollars unlimited runs all night, staging lines neve rtake to long either. Atco is def the ---- and yes we should set up a nj meet there sometime soon....
