Default Introducing the Flat Rate Gourmet Cook (PICS + 56K warn)

I got a wild hair up my *** to make grub and show up these fools putting down the pics of the ham sandwiches n ----.

Started out with some ground beef.

Also some tomato sauce and stewed tomatos, one big can of sauce and one little one, and two cans of the tomatos.

You gotta drain the tomatos and keep the juice, i put it in this bowl

Next comes the veggies, no canned ---- here.

Sauteeing the onions, green peppers, and mushrooms, softens them up so you dont have to simmer so long, and adds the kickin flavor.

Gotta dice up those tomatos

all done

jdm knife yo, thing cost like 80 bucks, silly roommate.

Next add in the sauce

add in the peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomatos

Time for basil, oregano, pepper, garlic, and salt

You've slaved over the stove, go have one of these and let it simmer a while

Its been simmering a while, time to thin it out a bit. This is where the juice from the tomatos comes in

Now you've got something like this, let it simmer a while more

oh yeah and get another one of these

Now its time to start some noodles and bread. a big pot and water, some oil and boil that shiznit.

Get a nice loaf like this and slice it up, butter it up, garlic it up, wrap it up in foil, and toss it in the oven at 350 for a bit.

Now you're done, get yourself a plate of some noodles n sauce.

Dont forget the freshly grated parmesean cheese

And here is the end result with bread all said and done

The longer it sits in the pot and stews the more flavorful it gets. This one turned out really good.

I'd like to thank Albertsons for the supplies. Also I'd like to thank Japan for the mad tyte knife yo. (seriously that thing could got my engine block in half i swear. Finally I'd like to thank mexicans, for inventing Corona, and to whoever thought up using lime in it.

Disclaimer: This may cause heartburn. It's got bite.

---- that. If I was hungry at 5pm I would be dead by 80 if I didn't eat. I could drive to the second closest Del Taco, drive back home, eat, and take a ---- faster than that.

When I started I wasn't hungry and I wanted something I could take to lunch at work for the next few days.

I made a ---- ton of this sauce.
