Intercooler in NSX

Is this not pointless? I dont see how that little amount of air will cool all that charge.

Would it not be better to with an air water setup + and aquamist kit?

no. it serves a purpose tard. see that roof scoop, that lets air into the engine bay, thus going through the IC...same thing on a wrx.

Works good or not I think it looks cool.

No its not the same thing, air has to go over the entire car before it gets in there, and it won't even be that much air. With a hood scoop or a front mount, the air is getting forced in.

still tho, air is bein forced over the car and back down it again, catchin the scoop and goin into the engine. True its not going to be as effective as a front mount or wrx IC, but it'll still have make a difference.

Listen, In order for an intercooler to be effective, air has to be covering the entire surface at a constant velocity, that roof scoop is about as effective as hotrex making a rational statement.

It holds back about 80% of the air the intercooler needs, on top of that, the cooler is entrapped inside a glass case and id being heated up by all the thermal radiation(engine heat).

Useless setup I think.
