Default Intercooler .... help

Guys ...
Ive bought my kit .. etc

and the guy who sold it to me, it a good chap

10/10 ...

Ive got a question

for stealth reasons, i want to spray my intercooler black.

ALL i want to know is ...... does sprayiing it black damage the performance of the intercooler.

I will only be running 5 PSI and eventually 10 PSI

so please state your views for me

It won't really effect it that much, not enough to worry about. Just don't put like 10 heavy coats on there, a few light coats oughta do it.

A few? Just use 1 light coat dude.. Although it isnt much, every extra layer -will- insulate more.

If your trying to run 8.09 instead of the regular 8.11, don't spray it. If your down to earth and your building your car to resemble the stealth fighter, by all means paint that thang.

I was meaning that if you were driving a pro import drag car and you were trying to shave .02 off your 1/4 mile time you shouldn't paint it, but on a street car I don't think you'll ever know a difference.
I was making the point that everyone should paint thiers. lol
