im 18 and i pay 210 a month for my integra, use to pay 190, but my new da dosent have abs, so its more for full covrage. i got a ticket for speeding, passing on the right lane on the freeway and having somone in my car before the first 6 months is up. its nice knowing you have full covrage 
but when i get a little older it should go down. was 170 before the ticket in my old car :P

in japan you have to buy for at least 3 months at a time. its cheaper if you go a half or full year. JCI is also considered part of your insurance. my insurance is based on the car and my rank. from the way i understood the lady, you could be the worst driver in the states, have a -----ton of points, come over here, and you have a clean slate, but still drive on your stateside license. (you still have to take a test to make sure you know the signs and ----) -a little different.
in the states, i paid $68 a month for renters insurance, my wifes isuzu trooper and my civic. libality on the civic and the trooper. $500,000 coverage on the renters insurance.
