insurance claim question
 

quick question. for those of you that have made a vandalism claim on your car, how much has your premium gone up?

I guess if you made any type of claim other than an at fault accident, lemme know what your rate went up to and from what.
[i.e. 100.oo pre-claim to 130.oo post-claim]

debating whether or not it would be worth my while to make a claim. I have full coverage, but if the premium is gonna go up too much I'll just bite the bullet.

i had some kid smash my windows, i called the cops, got a report, and then called the insurance agent, they took care of it, and they didnt raise my rates anymore than they normally do :7.

I got a perfict driving record, and insurance goes up $100 every year.....grrrr..

My car had the intercooler stolen at Chi town and then they popped my hood and took the BOV.....Reported this insurance company at the time"Gieco" and they replaced it all with HKS products and a new Ching chong intercooler.....Pics werent in my favor.....But the intercooler actually does better than the Precision one did since they bought a 4 row one rather than the 3 row that I had.


Ins went down actuall since I got married 4 weeks later before the billing statement came in..............Best I can do.

I just filed a $2300 claim to my home owners insurance. I ------ hate thieves. Either way...if my rates go up it would take a long time for them to add up to $2300.

Find an independant agent who will shop your quote around. i use one who set me up through a little company called deerbroke who operates out of Allstate and I just had to file claims and such for an accident and it was no hassle what so ever. told them where i wanted it fixed and it was done.

I reported two accidents this last 6 month policy term. One was a hit-n-run that I didn't know who it was since it happened while I was IN class and not in the car (uninsured motorists paid for this), and one where a guy backed into me while my car was parked (also not in the damn car, and his insurance paid for this). My insurance actually got a few bucks cheaper after I renewed it.
