Insurance

As of right now i am paying close to $220 a month on my 89 prelude .i am on it because it is my parents plan(GEICO). Basically my brothers are the worst drivers in the world and thats why its so high. I am 17 and i turn 18 in December and i havent gotten a ticket or in an accident the whole time ive been driving. If i get a new car i am forced by my father to get off of his insurance and get my own plan. my licence says it was issued 12-26-02 so ive been driving since then. thats what 1 1/2 years? i was just wondering if any one had any suggestions on what insurance i should switch to and what not, even though i am only 17.

Man, thats pretty average.. 17 year old male, driving a 2dr (which they consider the prelude a sportscar). Hopefully you only have liability only and not full coverage.

yeah but that car ------- sucks bro i already talked to you about it and what not i mean it would make a cool sleeper but i want to cut my losses and say the hell with it and get a different car that is less demanding then that beast. im looking into getting a mint condition rolling chasis with everything except the motor and the tranny, or hell maybe a whole running car in good condition but i got a budget so i only want to go around a grand.i mean how many 17 year olds would rebuild the front end of their car just so that they could have transportation instead of whining to their parents and just bitch all the time.

Well, first of all dude what state are you in? if you're in California like me then go with Dashers insurance. Got tickets? DUI? Accidents? NO PROBLEM! Just call 1 (800) 767-3274 for Dashers insurance. ;D Or you could go with Progressive, they are prettty good too. Don't go with those big name companies like Geico or Mercury, not good for young people. They usually don't let you on unless you're 21 or older anyway. Well, good luck. You're not financing your car are you?

Go with progressive then. Or, go with Viking., that's what I got. I'm not sure if they do Florida. But here's the number. 1-800-334-0090 Now make sure you do your homework. ;)
