Default insulating garage

im trying to think of a good way to cut and insert this pink 1" styrofoam into my metal garage door panels, so far its looks pretty damn retarded.

anyone got any tips or tricks how to do this ----? i was cutting the 4x8 sheets into 20" tall panels, then cutting those in 3 vertical so i could put the left and right piece in and slide them over then the middle piece, by putting the top in 1st on all pieces. but theres lines where i cut them, but you can see where i cut them, theres a better way im thinking ..

measure it out, use a straight edge and a skilsaw to cut and leave an 1/8th inch on each side, and pound it into the gaps. i used to do this on houses all the time.

most garage doors are already filled with foam unless they're wooden. otherwise it would sound like marbles in a can

If you're ---- isn't insulated I can't see it being easier to tear it completely apart over cutting small holes and spraying/blowing ---- in

My garage door isn't insulated, but the sun only hits it for the last few hours of the day so it doesn't roast it too much. HD sells a garage door insulation kit for less than $50, but I'm sure you can cram some styro into the spaces for cheaper.
