I don't quite get stun guns. They are unpleasant and trigger an instinctive recoil response, but they have little to no lasting effect as soon as the juice stops flowing. If you are determined and have a reason to attack the person with the taser, one certainly won't stop you.

a stun gun WILL take the fight out of anyone, its not a matter of getting over pain or anything like that. your body doesnt ------- work.

Bet. I seen a few on cops that didn't. One ripped snatched them right out of his chest and kept running. Another it tooke 3 cops shooting him at once before it brought him to his knees.

Sounds like you guys haven't been hit with a taser/stun gun. All it does is bunch up whatever surface muscles are between the contacts, and instill an instinctual/animal fright. Big whoopty-----.

i've been hit by the barbs, and it dropped me like a sack of ---- (go figure). i think you're thinking of what would technically be called a stun gun, everyone else is thinking of the taser.

Aside from some penetration into the skin, and a larger probe (?) spacing, I don't understand the difference? I've been hit in a leg and it dropped me, hit in the stomache and it folded me, but it's the sort of thing where the instant it's shut off you can move and if they hold it to you, you can focus and move anyway. You are really disoriented by it the first couple times, there's a really strong instinct to not get shocked again, but having played "tag" with a stun gun I've been shocked 30-35 times and you get over it most of that.

The object was to steal it, don't let on you have it for five minutes to two weeks, then shock the ---- out of someone else with it. The game lasted about two years before the stun gun dissappeared.
