Default injector question for VG30DETT vets

What are some good recomendations for decent and cheap injectors for these things? I got a friend building one, looking for 650cc+...I havent fooled with anything on a VG30 besides a tune up and water pump, as far as mods Im clueless. I saw a st of injectors that fit OBD0 honduh's, I almost told him to get them and wire in a resistor box (i have clips), but my lack of VG30 experience renders me useless.

Tell him to stop being a NlGGER and go buy nismo injectors, there are NO OTHER OPTIONS. Unless he wants to go buy some venoms :1. I bought venoms and i blame those injectors for the destruction of the engine. Unless he has a 95-96 which i highly doubt, he could use SARD injectors, which are slightly cheaper, but you will not get away withou spending close to a grand for injectors. If he wants bigger than 555cc and he doesnt have a 95-96, be prepared to spend 1500 to 2k in things needed to swap them over ( machined lower plenum) and all of those 'might as well do it anyway' type of deals, i.e. timing belt water pump, and whatever bullshit needs to be replaced when the blah blah blah i dont feel like typing anymore.

No problem, i like to deliver information in the most jackassed way as possible. Tell him to keep the stock injectors, turn the boost up to 13.5psi and have fun. Even if he gets 555cc injects, the stock turbos dont support much more than 400hp. So if he wants real power id say he should have atleast 3 to 3.5k saved. Those engines are pretty damn strong though, on par with LS1's, but they just lack the low end that i like from V8's

why not modify a regular fuel rail, or custom make one so you can run the more common intjectors?

It would just be one more thing in the clusterfuck that is a vg30dett. If you have a 300zx and want to enjoy it, you better have the money to not work on it yourself.

Do you know the difference between side feed and top feed? and the injectors being under a manifold with very little clearance? If there was a cheaper/easier way to do it, someone would have done it already.

Only option are thousand dollar injectors
