The infamous SOHC 1.5L Integra GSR (DC2) with a money shot

I finally couldnt take it anymore I had to through the turbo on the car today. That little 1.5 didnt have the balls to push around that big car at the speed that I wanted. It was fun to red line every gear in normal traffic. The problem came when I needed pick up, it wasnt there.

With this setup, I installed a resisterbox instead of the inline resistors, it looks some much cleaner in my opinion
http://www.latech.edu/~njt002/car/teg/resistorbox.JPG

http://www.latech.edu/~njt002/car/teg/enginebay.JPG
Here is a money shot

The setup
1.5 d15b vtec
tod04h turbo
dsm 450 injectors
Uberdata 1.6 or so, it tuned it a couple of years ago and its been straight since then
stock exhaust with a CAT (first time I've had a cat and three years)
Nissan Sentra GXE muffle, because when its free, its free.
Homemade downpipe
Homemade Air rail, its on the firwall and is silver, you migh can see it in the pic.
I need to get a new walrbo fuel pump and a front mount IC.

Its not fast, but its atleast quicker than those dam redneck trucks that like to rev on me.

LoL, sleepers are supposed to be fast. What's it feel like now, an LS? haha J/K. It's probably good that you got some power in it though, a lack of power can actually be unsafe at times

leaking a little bit of oil, cant really put my thumb on where its coming from though. :P

Re: The infamous SOHC 1.5L Integra GSR (DC2) with a money shot

the oil shot is very decieving, the problem with the oil leak is the valve cover rubber gasket... it was there before the turbo was put on.

Haha.

Toss a 2.5 bar MAP on there and crank the boost to 12-14 psi. She'll feel pretty good for a grocery getter.

I tuned it for 10psi already.. rember this is the motor out the del sol, it ran a 14.6 with a slipping clutch and walmart tires. I got a puck clutch, but I got cheaper than walmart tires on the car now. I figure i should be atleast in 15s. The del sol was about 2400ish while the del is around 2600ish.

This car doesnt belong on the track, but I gotta see what its gonna run.

is that a reducer in the feed line for the turbo? that lookes like the same set up i have a greddy turbo kit. how did you do the reducer if thats what it is.

nope, that just joins two oil lines. I wanted to use steel braided lines close to the manifold. The TD04h has a built-in oil restrictor. Just look down the oil inlet and you will see it.

there's no reason that a single cam turbo stock internalled would ever need a walbro to back up fuel pressure, overkill.

yes there is, because the stock one might suffice for a bit, but it will crap out, and if it craps out on a 4th or 5th gear pull youre goign to be assed out

There are publicly posted flow vs pressure charts for the stock Honduh fuel pumps. Kindly produce one, and explain your case, or shut the ---- up.

Or, since you have no case, just skip right to the shutting the ---- up part.

my old pump started screwing up on the flow and almost cost me my motor.. i guess i dont need a walbro 255hp, but i dont want to trust a 200k fuel pump.
