Indian Larry died??
 

I just found out that Indian Larry died. That really sucks cause he was one of the top bike builders and one of my favorites. That really sucks, he was only 55, he died surfing on the seat of his motorcycle. Am I the only one who just found out about this now?

it was on the news when he died....i saw it.


His bikes were bad ass. But I still like the old skool Jesse James bikes. One day when i get rich i will own a West Coast Choppers bike.

All Indian Larry did was old school bikes. Jesse James bikes are considered modern compared to Larry's. But nonetheless they were both friends

hell yeah they were friends. have you ever watched those great biker build off's on the discovery channel? they are all great people who do great things.

i love to watch those type of shows just to watch the craftsman ship that goes into those things.
sometimes the shows are annoying but all in all its alot of fun to watch them build ----.

i dont have flash on my computer at work, so i cant access his site, but this is bad ass. i thought he made the hubless bikes on a single swing arm. maybe im confusing him with someone else.

the hubless bike was made by "Psycho" Billy Lane, also a friend of Larry's.

What sucks is how now the whole "chopper"/custom bike scene is becomming like the import fad fest used to be.

I called in the day he died and said I was sick. Well I didn't but I'll be sure to pour some Miller out of my 40 for him. Wait I don't drink so I guess it's just rip. :P

If I did drink I'd be pouring it out so.... so other people could drink it and do bad thing that Indian Larry wouldn't approve of.

yeah he was rite around my area when he died...he tried standing up on his bike and fell off and wasnt wearing a helmet. rip indian larry

wow, I hadnt heard this before.
That guy seemed like the coolest most humble guy out of all the biker builders that are all over tv.
Much respect to him, dont know if its a good or bad thing that he died riding.

I've noticed this too.......now you can buy diecast choppers and west coast stuff all over the place. But yeah Indian Larry built some sweet bikes. The modern choppers can't even compare to the old school bikes. The nicest bikes I've seen so far are the one's Exile builds. Sleek and flat black. 8)

i was watching a bike build off last nite between indian larry and some other guy and indian larry had an old skool bike, the other guy built a "futuristic" lookin 1, and indian larry won. it was a sweet bike, a gold bike w/ old skool spoked rims 8) it was pretty sweet.

at least he died doing what he loved.
if i were to die right now, i would hope it would be a sudden stop in a car that i built at a high speed. kinda scary huh.

I feel ya!I allways wanted to die in my civic.Thats why I would loosen the lug nuts and go 130 in it all the time.

I guess Im lucky :P
