I hate you, Milkman Dan.

I almost bought a 37" 1080p for $600 off woot.com the other day. I figured that would make a decent monitor for the new compI'm building.

This one is only 720. I don't need anything that fancy in the bedroom. My 60" 1080p/dvd player/ps2/ps3/original nintendo/gamecube/wii/surround sound/blu ray player/digital HD reciever are in the living room. This TV is just for watching tv/movies at night when I'm in bed and can't sleep.

Nice pickup. We have a 42" lg 720p. If I were you though, ditch the stand. Get a cheap wall mount off ebay for like $20 and mount that bitch. The mount I got needed a little tweaking to make it work but it looks awesome and really, there's no better place for it

Plasma tv's are a lot less expensive compared to LCD's. I understood that they lose the picture after some time.
FWIW my Sharp Aquos sound system stopped working after 3years. I just use the surround sound from the DVD player now.

That looks awesome. Ive got a 37'' LCD in the bedroom that does well but its a couple years old. I hate buying new things like that because in a few years there will be something better for cheaper.

$720 is a pretty good deal on that. I bought a 32" for the living room for like $400, then decided it was too small so I put it in the bedroom and now I have a 50" in the living room. I bought 2 of those cheap *** wall mounts off Egay and they worked out perfect.
