run uberdata on it with an obd1 conversion harness and lean that bitch out.

35mpg and she's bitchin...sure she gets better mileage in her diesel, but it costs more to fill up.

Diesel fuel is cheaper than gas out here.

Tell your mom that 87 octane gas is cheaper then disel so she will make up the difference there.

87 octane $1.70->$1.90 about $17 -> $19 for 10 gallons
Disel $1.99->$2.30 about $20 -> $23 for 10 gallons

It is here.

I think I want to build an engine for an EF four door that gets crazy MPG someday as a DD.. I have no idea where to start though

tell her that if her car getting only 35 mpg is a significant problem in her life then shut the ---- up and go give money to charity or something.

You're completely wrong. A hybrid can't touch a diesel in fuel economy in the real world. In the laboratory test sure but not in the real world where the gas engine has to be running most of the time the vehicle is moving. Think about it.
IMO it's an utter ------- waste of time to make a hybrid with a gasoline engine in it. They should make it with a Diesel and they could probably do a 100MPG.

Are you ------- retarded? I used to be part of a message board where two guys went cross country to see who could get the best MPG, I think the one made a world record with 115+ MPG. Yeah.. that's really really inefficient

MPG racing has nothing to do with normal driving. They never go above 40mph and they don't have any of the electrics that are necessary in normal driving turned on.
And the diesels are a lot more efficient than any gasoline engine, it's a solid fact.
