Impounding Cars(RANT) for Ontario guys!
 

I've heard from my buddies that the cops are cracking down on moddified vehicles. Like turbos NOS etc. I heard that in the area of Cambridge they sat one night in a lot, pulled cars in and impound anything they didn't aprove of? They had a flat bed and all.

That sucks

I know there was going to be a law passed in Ontario about that ---- but I thought it would never fly. And what about us who don't street race! Or the big ol' SMoggy V8 like my dad's 70 Dart?

Time to toss the bright yellow hatch and go the sleeper route with a strip down 4door!

In indiana they passed a loud exhaust ordnance.--the cops judge the loudness of the car. car not harley or anything else.....
I dont know about impunding cars because they are 'to fast' they gotta catch you racing or something like that first. Do they just cant come up to your car and say hummm, you have nitrous and a turbo, your car is being impunded.

That's shitty. The worst thing a cop ever did to me was tell me that if he ever catches me speeding that he's going to rip me out of my car and beat the ---- out of me. :P He's an old-timer. I could outrun him walking ;D

he goes is this ur car ..
i replied

"no"

he looked at me

"u got a licence"
i said whats that . smirking at him :D ;)

so then i go, why do u keep on stopping me,
its becuase iam black

he looked at me and walked away
lol

Unless your street racing I doubt they can just start impounding cars. Sounds like some kid got busted racing and is blaming the cops. I have 2 speed contest tickets and I got what I desereved.

Yeah they did the same in Tracy (Cali), They ended up im pounding like 30 cars and writing something like 60 tickets, they also ticketed for street racing, It was HUGE. Sleeper is the way to go

Yes, its true cops do give out tickets for stupid reasons in ontario. NOS is not a stupid reason, that is illegal. I have a Transportation of Dangerous goods licence and training. That ---- is not allowed in your car, even if it is for fuel.

But, you can contest all the stupid ---- they give tickets for in ontario. It was in the Sun or star, can't recall, two or three days ago. The ERASE program just started and that is aimed at modified cars. Two new choppers where bought to help inforce it as well. Watch out for that crack team, they give tickets for LED's ::)
