i was looking into it for a while but in order to get a car from japan you have to have a liscenced importer bring it in for you if it does not pass us standards you have so make a deposit of up to 5x the cars value to show that u have the money to make it road legal it has to go to a shop that is lisenced to do the proper work to bring the car up to code...................if you want a jdm car buy one here in the us that someone has imported..... find a identical u.s. wrecked one in the junk yard buy it get the paper work then have your jdm car inspected and say you fixed the wrecked car with jdm parts
