I'm New Here
Ok, so i'm new on this website. a friend of mine told me to join here and said that u guys could steer me the right way. so right now i have a 86' trans am, but i'm looking to get an import. I'm looking for something thats cheap like around $2000 and that can be modified to be fast. Any suggestions?

If you really want an import for a project a civic would be your best bet for a cheap car/turbo setup.

i want to get rid of the trans am cuz its automatic and i want stick. plus i want something thats gets better mpg instead of my V8

The autos in those cars are hella strong though. Where you from? I know a buddy with a muncie 4 speed, he could sell it to you.
And after you turbo you'll get better MPG. |

go with a first gen talon tsi, or an older awd turbo'd eclipse, cheap and already running boost, few upgrades and motor work, fast, and youll hook!

yea not really, if you know how to tune the car you wont have any problems, on top of that a little head work helps, and a decent clutch, ACT is the best for those cars, and the second gen tranny is better, it has an extra mount, but its not hard to hook up
