:'( I will be in Irag within two weeks for 18 months, wont be able to do ---- fun, and most of all I will not have any communication with my wife and daughter, I am very sad right now, I was told at a short notice :'(

i know how you feel man my brother was sent to korea...not exactly iraq but still he cant be in contect with us for like 6 to 8 weeks at a time. I am proud or our nation's soldiers

I have a friend in the navy that just left two weeks ago. He said he was gonna send me updates and pictures and stuff. I was planning on making a thread about any of our friends or relatives that may be deployed. I haven't heard from him yet, but tell one of your family members to check in with us and if we get the thread started they can give us an update on you. Yo rudeboy, you say you'll be gone for 18 MONTHS!! My cousin's in the Navy, but I guess his 9 month deploy wasn't that bad. Well take care of yourself man, keep your head up and remeber, HMT is here waitin for ya! If you see any Iraqi ricers (whether they have a 10 foot wing on their car or their camel), make sure you take care of that for us.
