It was fun, but I broke my axle.....with no turbo.
The axle was already on the verge of breaking though, but i couldn't get a new one in before the race and I was so anxious to go.
all my times were 17.1's I went down the track 4 times.
From the start I could here my axle and when shifting I felt sorry for it...it made horrible noises.
It broke when I arrived home ... thank god.
Broke it at the stop light.
A friend of mine broke his engine to...a rod went trhu the block. Happened after the race on the highway.
I'm replacing my axle tomorrow and gonna put in my turbo soon.
Still waiting for my falnges

The car should have run low 16's to high 15's with a good driver and if it's in perfect condition.
Will be replacing the axle today.

Where do you connect the vacume line for the BOV on the Reanault 5 GT turbo carb

Is he building a turbo on a TU engine?

If so, there is a nipple on the intake manifold, just below the carb.

Another option is using T-piece and connect it to the vaccum line that goes to the 'rembekrachtiger'(----, don't know the english word).

BTW any chance his name is Marco?
