Default I'm confused...??

Okay, lemme know your opinion.

My brother wants to trade cars, I want to but I dont know if I should. His car is really nice, it's a 91 Talon TSI, painted Nissan 350Z copper, black wheels, etc. Fully rebuilt motor, ported/clipped 16G, SMIC, SAFC, turboXS MBC.. he runs a mid 9 in the 1/8th mile on 17psi, but motors built for 30psi.

I have a 94 Honda civic coupe, needs new paint job. CF evo hood, cf trunk, body kit, 18" rims, JDM D15B vtec w/14B ported turbo, FMIC, HKS ssqv, STR comp fuel rail, 450cc injectors, new 2.5" exhaust, Projekteg ecu w/datalogging, motor has 3k miles. Pushin 11psi. I havn't ran mine on the track yet, but it runs pretty damn quick anywhere else!

Maybe i'm just holdin on to my car for sentimental reasons, i dunno, but what would you do?

I would drive his car for a week before deciding. Either he's bored with his car or something is funny with it.
Next thing is I would race him to see which is faster

yeah tell him to trade for a week .... and he did all that work and hes still sporting the smic - SMALL mount intercooler ? in the long run his car has more potential though.. as with any car it just needs time and money.

tsi talons are awd. is the tranny stock? if it is be prepaired to spend a good chuck on change on it when it breaks. one of the guys i work with has a fully built talon, son of a bitch it's fast. don't know what it makes for power yet. he got boost happy with it while we were steet tuning it and he put a nice thumb sized grove in one of his pistons.

Theres some good advice, just sell those damn 18"s and all the body kit crap and return the body to stock w/ some 15"s or 16"s. Then take the extra money you have and get a bigger turbo or paint it if thats more important to you. And tell that boy to stop running 17 psi on a SAFC, I didnt even know that was possible.
