Her birth control might be causing the problem. Remember the pills work by tricking the body to thinking its pregnant. When the dose of horomones is too high they can get morning sickness and all the symptoms of being pregnant.
However, chances are if her period is normal than she's most likely not pregnant. But if its light there's a chance becuase women sometimes get their periods a little when they're pregnant
