I'm buying a Motorcycle
 

I got my motorcycle permit today. I found a 1975 Honda CB550 for $900 locally (claims to run great) that I might buy. :6 When I get rich I'll buy a nice CBR or harley roadster. My dad has a yamaha V-star. Pretty nice, but I want my own bike incase I ---- up and drop it. :-X

thats alot of an 75' CB550. But at least your starting out on a practical bike.

I've been ripping on my 82 Kawi 750 LTD. Just got my permit at the end of last summer, and I'm going to get my license soon here. It's so much fun... but I'm kinda getting bored with this big 'ol clunker. I want a CBR 600... possibly like an F3 (or F4 if I can find a good deal).

my first bike was the original f1 hurricane. That bike saved my life, I know if I had started on my current bike I'd probably be dead right now.

I am picking up a 96 Suzuki GS500E.

Should be a nice fun ride/gas saver on campus during summer class. 58mpg :S

yea they are saying the '75 CB550 gets like 60-70mpg. I almost got me a Honda Valkyrie :6 IT has flood damage from teh gulf. A bunch of corrosion on its V6 crome. After lookin at the auction on teh valkyrie againhe wants 3800 for it, but nobody has bid on it yet and its under 2K right now.
