you should just mini-me it, then it will move alright. If your stock clutch is handleing the power your not putting enough down :P

Yea yea, but remember this is my first boosted ride. So I'm happy with 6psi.

That's how I was. Except I didn't get to decided my boost level, my car decided 19 was good enough

how the downpipe holding up man? i heard you welded the cast iron to steel right? tell me how you like it, any problems yet? overall good setup man.

So far the downpipe is holding great, no problems at all.

No major problems yet! The only problem I've had so far is I blew the charge pipe coupler off of the compressor outlet last night, but I put it back on even tigher and it's holding perfectly.

I'm using 7 mph and 3500 rpm. I am going to try 3000 rpm this weekend because I spin the tires quite at bit at 3500. FTL is tha shiznit

you need to boost a z6, then you'll feel some pull. that dx aint gonna last long, im waiting for the 'blown motor' thread.

my b7 had 200k miles on it when i boosted it(8 psi). blew a headgasket at 206k. threw on a z6 head and IM(bumped it to 10 psi)...and it ran fine till 210k where it is right now. the car has been down for a couple months waiting for a built z6...but the point is....a stock b7 can take a decent beating even at high milage as long as its got a decent tune. as long as hes happy and hes not stupid about it, the motor should last him a while.
