im back

what is up with the fact that i cant get on my old name?

------ have to start with zero posts and ----.

anyone want to lay out a quick run down on whats happened in the past 3 months so i dont have to read 8 million pages of bullshit?

and how the ---- do i get a password to the OG section cuz i lost my post count.

and, ******. aww man, still ------ gay there is nothing wrong with that word.

boosted_b16 03-21-2009 01:20 PM

I'll sum it up for you real quick OK
1 chris (xenocron) sold the site to Rick P
2 every OG had a big ass fit because Rick P switched to VB
3 Also there were accusations all over that Rick P was un-justly throwing the ban hammer at peeps
4 I have no idea if thats true, if you ask me from everything I have read I think Rick P bought the site switched it to VB, (which is fine) and really hasn't done anything wrong, but a whole bunch of people were just being whiny bitches ( then again I didn't get banned so who knows)
5 The end result is that pretty much all the OGs are gone and there is not much posting going on here anymore, which sucks a fat one!

the13thround 03-21-2009 03:03 PM

NOOOOOOO i spent the last 3 months thinking about coming on here and spewing racist garbage and contemplating what pile of junk parts would go the fastest when compiled together.

well that end getting some fresh tail.

d-man 03-21-2009 09:47 PM

Ya no one is posting here anymore, no one really comes to the site anymore and it is kind of falling apart because RickP has thrown down the ban hammer on people for no reason as well as deleting posts without telling the poster about it or even asking them to change it.

Its B.S. if you ask me but oh well. I'm sure an OG will start a new site up that will be a throw back to the old HMT.

jacer63 03-22-2009 05:57 PM

yep this site is full of fail now...way to ruin a good thing rick p.

FAILURE

I must admit; this site is crippled badly. All the folks that made HMT what it was are now gone. At least it still has all (well most of) the old tech stuff and other things. The old HMT died when Xeno cashed out. Give it time and it should grow back though. It'll never be the same that's for sure. It'll be interesting to see what it's like in a year or so if it's still around.

Let me start to threaten your family with letter bombs and anthrax and see if you still think that deleting posts is such a crime

I seriously don't get people who have such a -----fit over a forum changing hands or software.

Either you agree with the changes and stick around or you don't and you leave. Why get all butt-hurt when things don't go your way?

No one, especially not Rick P, owes you a damn thing around here. He pays the very hefty bills while the rest of you guys bitch and complain about an upgrade to software. In exchange for trying to upgrade the board and make it a better place people threaten to kill him and his family. That seems fair.

CivicOCD 03-22-2009 11:48 PM

an "upgrade" in software that nobody wanted.
define upgrade? because its "better"?

better for who?

The Hitman 03-22-2009 11:53 PM

Why does he need to consult with you people before upgrading HIS board? (remember, he paid for it, it's his toy to play with). So whether you guys wanted it or not is irrelevant.

Upgrade means newer version.

Better for him. Upgrades generally mean more stability, more features and often more security. All of which are a bonus if you're trying to run a fast, stable and secure site.

Of course, why would the users want any of that?

moto21dx 03-23-2009 12:48 AM

and now he gets to pay for his dumbass mistake.

the site is dead, his traffic is gone and his investment is in the shitter.

had he just stfu about it and left ---- alone and not banned the core of the site none of this would have happened.

he brought this upon himself. Nice upgrade.... bet it upgraded the hole in in his wallet also.....

you say secure, stable and fast. funny thing I dont recall anything being wrong with it before.
