(it has been raining the last 2 days) make a long story short, my wifes trooper once again came through in pulling another out of the mud. the KIDS tried to take it through a muddy ditch. no ----.
i think im gonna start carryin around my digi camera, im always running into some ---- to take pics of.
not sayin a evo is any better becuase i would take either, but the story seemed fitting. :P

Re: im already making plans for when i get back from japan....my next car
my friend's evo 8, ran 13.8 stock
-buschur racing exhaust , 3in, no muffler
-short throw shifter
-new intercooler piping
-intercooler
ran a 13.2 (the last time i knew)
he has more done to it now, but its just insane to think of how much restriction is put on the car with exhaust, but on any car for that fact. we 'consumers' do not want a loud car, ---- ya we do! =)

And to those that think its better to dump endless amounts of money into a used honda and make it "fast" you should save your money and get a real sports car couse the only sports cars Honda makes are the s2k and the NSX.Dont get me wrong,Civics are fun to mod(i had fun with mine) but it will never compare to or be a real sports car.Its just us poor guys way to feel good about ourselfs....its our generations "poor mans porche"

a car that:

tight gearing
interior ready for go fast driving
AWD with the 60/40 center dif
what would I add/change...of coarse i would get rid of all of that air filter ---- air box and just get a cone filter, I would put a different turbo manifold on it, I would get a clutch that would handle a day at the track and a day of cruising riding town, i would probably add a boost gauge, and an external wastegate with a MBC. I would probably leave it at that.
and jecu, the talk of mitsu going belly up, i would still buy an evo. BTW, the evo X is in the works as well....
mitsu has talked about going belly up since the 1g eclipse.

Honestly the part I don't get is you're all talking about getting something that isn't even in production quite yet, or barely into it, but you're not going to be back for 3 years, so what's to say in 2008 when you come home, you're not going to want the new evo 11
see what im getting at?
