I'm pumped and don't have an xbox 360 or tv.

I'm thinking about snatching up the halo 3 xbox and a nice 1080p 60" at the end of the month though, along with an internet connection other than my neighbors...

i hate halo 1 and 2 so i am assuming 3 is jsut as gay, sorry i hate games where you have to shoot 17 times to kill somethinf and have shitty weapon layouts, i like more realistic games, not humans versus aliens, ill play doom before i play galo 3

To be honest, campaign is fun, but the main reason I play the game is multiplayer.

It's interesting how you say COD is better, when the games haven't came out with. I am interested in both games, but I'm pretty sure after I get started on Halo 3 I won't buy another 360 game (just like I never bought an xbox game after halo 2 multiplayer).

I'm rocking an oc'ed athlon 2400 and oc'ed radeon 9600...so don't think I'll be playing that. If I can't play a game at a decent resolution (1680x1050) I won't play it. My comp won't run it too well, and I refuse to play an unreal tournament game on a console, halo 3 it is...

its easy to kill in under 5 shots if you aim correctly, i came in second in a tournament when halo2 came out

i personaly am excited about halo3 and dont even own the system (at the moment) i may get one soon just for it

my brothers a halo freak of nature he takes out people left and right with head shots and ----

with the sniper he allways manages to get headshots
witht he sword he knows exactly when to let go
with br and mele close combat
and plasma pistol blast then switch to br is what he dubs the ----- combo cause apparently he gets a ---- ton of kills with it

I've never been into the whole "gamer" thing. I have enough other things that take up enough of my time, like masturbating and sleeping. :l I think my gf would leave me if I started playing games. :1

i play every now and then but never bought into the HALO hype.. i would like to play it though as it looks kind of fun. anybody know where to get a full version of 1 or 2 for PC free??

yea you can download halo combat evolve trial version and you can play 1 map in multilayer....blood gulch is the map...
i use to play alot on the trail..still alot of player through for being halo 1 for pc...

ive seen halo3 gameplay and cod gameplay :P 6 months ago, its not just the hitting the person i know head shots kill easier but i like being more realistic sniper shot to anywhere and your out, galo is alright i would say but in my book no where near c.0.d.

Just because a game isn't completely realistic doesn't make it any worse ::) I'm not arguing that COD4 is a worse game, it just requires different types of strategies. If you want a little more realism, play it. I'd just rather play a "fake" game with laser cannons, hammers, shields, active camo, "man cannons" :l, and all that other good ----.

I don't have much time for games myself anymore, I've managed without a tv for around 2-3 months now, and no games for even longer...might have to bend the rules for halo 3 though. Tons of hype, but the multiplayer backs it up!

007 goldeneye over any of this halo ----. haha halos alright but the games never really improved that much. grafics kinda did but not what i expected. kinda glad i didnt like it that much because i wasted my time on games enough already.

he's got a point....golden eye started the First person multiplayer action for consoles.....yea you can say unreal tournament......but imo that game is lame as ----...i played it for 2 hours then threw it away...mind u this was when it came out for pc....did the same thing to URT 2....not impressed

Goldeneye was 1st person, and was pretty damn fun at the time. I got hooked on perfect dark when that came out later (same as 007, just with more ---- and bots to fight against).

To say Halo 2 was the same as Halo 1, I don't think you've played both games. Halo 2 multiplayer was a big improvement over the first. I'm hoping Halo 3 is an improvement as well...

Whoever said unreal tournament sucked, you're wrong :P Playing the game at turbo speeds was insane and a lot of fun. Don't like it more than halo but it was a pretty damn good game.
